In our cellar in Bordeaux style, wines mature in two quality levels. Under the SCHLOSS HALBTURN brand, we offer sophisticated first label wines with a comprehensive vintage depth. Our second label wines from the KOENIGSEGG brand are characterized by a Burgenland variety style with that certain extra.

Schloss Halbturn wines are available in a comprehensive vintage portfolio

Our SCHLOSS HALBTURN wine line combines deeply different wines. Each of them is an expression of the unique soil structures of our vineyards Wittmannshof and Jungenberg as well as the respective vintage. The terroirs give the wines their exceptional character, their distinctiveness and elegance. The grape material from different quarters is assembled into outstanding wines with a timeless style. Aged in barriques, these wines promise balance and longevity. We are convinced that the potential of these sophisticated wines will only develop over time and therefore present them at the earliest five years after the harvest. We recommend wine lovers to choose from our extensive vintage portfolio and to favor older vintages.

Enjoy from our SCHLOSS HALBTURN wine portfolio elegant Pinot Noirs, sophisticated Sankt Laurents, strong Impérial rot (BF-CS-ME-CF), Burgundian Chardonnays and exciting Impérial weiss (SB-CH). We offer wine lovers, who appreciate exceptional wine jewels, limited our characterful Blaufränkisch, powerful Jungenberg (ME-CF) and extremely precious Cabernet Francs.

Named after the old noble family Koenigsegg and two of the three owner families of Weingut Schloss Halbturn, the KOENIGSEGG wines are an expression of typical Burgenland varietal typicity with that certain extra something. Expanded in used barriques, our KOENIGSEGG wines are characterized by a pronounced depth of fruit and harmony. With our second label wines, too, we aim to offer wines that are ready to drink, but without vintage depth.

We recommend those who are at the beginning of their wine journey or looking for easily accessible wines from our KOENIGSEGG wine portfolio a fruit-expressive Zweigelt Reserve, classic Pinot Noir, full-bodied Cuvée Rot (BF-ZW-SL) or sparkling Brut Rosé (PN).

It is gratifying that the Schloss Halbturn family is growing with more high-quality brands.

We are pleased that our wine family is growing with other high-quality brands. Since 2019 our team has been creating 100% Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria (AUSTRIAN EAGLE) according to the international principle "négociant éleveur". Our personal affection has always been for German Riesling and we therefore expanded our EAGLE concept in 2020 with 100% Riesling from Germany (GERMAN EAGLE).
